The rain showers of April have not really happened this year.
However, we have seen showers! Showers of blessings!
Ez 34:26 And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing.
Our time together preparing for the celebration of the Resurrections of Jesus Christ was a blessing! Palm Sunday was a blessing! The Good Friday service was a blessing! The Easter Sunrise Service was a blessing! And of course, a full sanctuary of worshippers during both Easter Services was a blessing!
Showers of blessings, indeed!
Let me mention another blessing. I am writing this on April 16 .
125 plus youth. That is how many kids have registered for VBS! We already have 10 kids on the waiting list! WOW! We are overflowing!
Mal 3:10 Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.
As God pours out His blessing the church needs to respond. A record-breaking VBS is going to require an “all hands on deck” approach. Volunteers are needed! You may sign up on the bulletin board in the church hallway or reach out to Ashley Reams. Can you imagine making an eternal impact on the lives of 125 kids?
Now that’s a blessing!
On a personal note, let me mention one more blessing. You. I’ve been blessed with a few free or almost free travel opportunities the past few months as well as having to travel to the west coast multiple times to visit my mother. I am beyond blessed to serve in a church that has allowed me the opportunity to accept these invitations and to visit my mother. Thank you. You are, indeed, a blessing!
Eph 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
