Gumbo Cook-Off Rules
- Gumbo must be prepared from scratch, including the roux!
- You must sign up before 6:15 pm to enter.
- There is no entry fee and all entries are welcome.
- Gumbo must be at the church by 6:15 pm.
- Gumbo can be a variety of seafood, chicken, duck, sausage, etc.
- Judges will decide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on the following:
- Aroma
- Color
- Consistency
- Taste
- Aftertaste
There will also be a “People’s Choice Award”.
