Almost full!
The 2024 VBS registration is going well, and we are almost full!
Breaker Rock Beach is this year’s theme, and the focus verse is Romans 12:2… “Be Transformed by the Renewing of your Mind!”
If you haven’t registered your kids yet, do so quickly before the waiting lists get long!
God is good!!!!
We welcomed a mission team back from Puerto Rico recently. The team of six worked hard for over a week preparing for a VBS in June.
Please be praying for the June team! They’re going to be stretched!!!!
May is the month we have a Quarterly Business Meeting, and that meeting is also our annual Budget Meeting where we set the budget for next fiscal year.
I’d like to point out a few considerations:
- Only members can vote in a Business Meeting. If you’re not sure about your membership status you can verify it by calling the office or just asking me. We want everyone to have a voice!
- If you are leading a ministry, get your budget request into the office ASAP!
- If we have no input from the ministry leader, the financial committee will set a proposed budget amount based on last year’s actual usage.
We will be making some very important decisions in the May Business meeting.
Please plan to participate on May 19th at 5:00pm.
Luke 2:49… And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”
Our real business, like Jesus, is the Father’s business.
Let’s remind ourselves, as we are about to get really busy, that the most important function of the church is sharing the gospel with a broken and hurting world.
Everything else we do should support that mission!
One final word, if you are not attending Wednesday Night’s you are missing out on an outstanding opportunity to be discipled!
In my opinion, the church should be full on Wednesday night!!!!
