Remember why and for whom

    Easter was such a blessing!

The annual Resurrection Eggstravaganza was a "hopping" success.

Joni Rubion and her precious team of volunteers once again found the perfect balance of fun and games while still sharing the meaning of Easter and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with our community.

Thank you to all who volunteered to make this event so "eggcellent!"

The physical lay-out of our church campus makes it difficult to know how many children are here each week.

Our Palm Sunday Worship service lets us see, as children in both services carry Palm Branches into the Sanctuary with shouts of "Hosanna!"

Gayle Ellison and her team of Children's ministry volunteers make it look so easy! They do such a great job all year long!

Our Good Friday service is always one of my favorites each year.

I appreciate the worship time and time in the Word that helps us focus on the death and the resurrection.

There is something about leaving the sanctuary in silence and in darkness that draws us into the reality of the tomb.

Our Sunrise Service started at 7:00 am but Luke Kerry, our minister of music, was up long before that making sure we were ready to worship at the break of day! And worship we did!

Our Praise Band, led by Luke and Rachel, always do a spectacular job in leading not just music, but leading worship! We're spoiled! I fight the temptation of taking them for granted. Please let the entire Praise Band know how much they are appreciated!

May is a transition month for the church.

We go from busy to VERY busy! Preparations are being made for VBS. Registration has been open for some time. You can register online at our website. We are also actively recruiting the necessary volunteers to make a 5 day, all-day, VBS work! Please pray about how you can support this vital outreach to our community. Sign-up and contact information is on the bulletin board in the hallway of the main building.

My encouragement and my prayer for us all as we get busier is this; Remember why and for whom we are busy!

Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

    God bless, Pastor Rob
