As Jesus nears the end of his teachings, he tells his disciples that while he will be gone for a little while, eventually they will see him, and their sorrow will turn to joy.
This is the dark before the dawn.
We live in a broken world where things aren't as they were meant to be, but in Christ, one day this sorrow will turn to joy and this grief will give way to glory.
